Each new task is 30 minutes long by default. It may be changed by editing the task:
- Bring up task's menu by long-pressing it, or tapping it and then tapping "MORE" on the yellow toolbar at the bottom
- Choose "Edit task details"

The duration of any given task may be changed by tapping it and then using +/- buttons on the yellow toolbar at the bottom.
